Selling your home and finding the perfect place to move into doesn"t happen in one day! Believe me I know! It wasn't long ago that my husband and I decided to move from Toronto to the country. He was born and raised in Peterborough and wanted to be somewhere in the Northumberland County. We placed our home on the market and the process began.....

Our time frame for selling was limited as our daughter was due to begin Grade One that September. Many weekends were spent with our agent searching for our country home. I'm sure she was glad to see the back of us. September soon  came and grade one began. The listing was due to expire when unexpectedly an offer came in and we accepted. We now had a deadline to find a new property. Most of our spare time was spent searching and then we found it! I am happy to say that my family are residents of Castleton within Northumberland County. We have found our piece of paradise.
